  1. polar bears reside in the snowy regions of the world they r in danger from other carnivores so for protection they have white fur so that they easily camouflge in the white snow and protect themselves


  2. Polar bear hair is actually clear, but it scatters light and this scattered light appears white.  Snow appears white for the same reason.
