Polar bear hair is actually clear, but it scatters light and this scattered light appears white.  Snow appears white for the same reason.

polar are not really white, it is just the color of their fur.  their skin is actually black.  since the fur is so thick you can't tell tough.

There not. The hairs of there fur is clear to opaque. And only reflect white light.
