How come randomly on my vista a message comes up saying connect broadband connection?

This happens when I visit websites it just randomly does this, if I click cancel it is just fine but if I click connect it doesn't connect and if I click the X button then it makes me have no internet until I restart my computer.

How can I get rid of this.

P.S. I have a Windows Vista PC and I use Mozilla Firefox as my internet browser.

What kind of connection do you use? Do you dial it? You need to give more information on your connection. If you use Internet Explorer, start it, then go to tools at the right, and click "internet options". Click on the connections tab and select never dial a connection. Even if you don't use Internet Explorer or Dial up you can still fix it this way, because this is what windows uses in control panel. You can go there to change the settings, but you basically need to make it not connect automatically or always connect without asking you.
