How come so many people are playing Yu-gi-oh card game? Isn't it a huge waste of time and money?

You pay all of this money buying and trading cards that you think are worth money. You spend $1000s on cards and end up with a shoe-box full of c**p in 3 years. Nobody will buy them, or you played them so they're not worth anything anyway...

You never know the cards maybe something they can share with their kids down the road. Or if they are taken care of it can remind them of days when they were younger and the fun they had when they played. One person's c**p is another person's treasure. I can think of worse things people can spend their money on besides a hobby they enjoy.

ya its true, they do go to waste after awhile...

thats how it was for me...

the only thing is i never wasted a $1000 bucks on it... never really needed to buy them

theres a reason why we have hands and deep pockets right? haha

anyways ya, i actually dont mind playin it, its pretty fun

i mean there is that 50 50 chance of gettin beat at playin it, or really kickin the **** out of ur opponent with ur cards

also i love the money, i got 135 bucks for this "Card Trooper" card on E-Bay... its insane haha

but ya some cards u get big bucks for, thats wat i enjoy

not sure how alot of peeps is still bustin there a$$ tryin to buy yugioh packs...

i mean it is a waste of money buyin them... i do buy some packs haha... seriously... but still i dont buy them all, the most worthwhile cards i got without paying, would hav e to be Dark Magician of Chaos, Chaos Emperor Dragon-Envoy of the End, E-Hero Flame Wingman, D-Hero Malicious and Destiny Draw, E-Hero Dark Neos, Super Vehicroid Jumbo Drill, Jinzo (my buddies got it from some punk kid out here, he dint deserve it haha) umm... d**n there was alot, i sold them tho... i also trade them too

but ya the only good packs i got from buying them were, Ring of Defense, King Dragun, umm... haha wat am i talkin bout anyway?

well there good money, simple money... buy a pack, can either get a great gift for wat? 4 bucks? or 5 bucks? then get a card that ranges from over 30 to atleast 80 maybe? or u can either get a dud pack... its a great snag tho right? j**s sure do know how to promote an make money, i mean Pokemon worked for them right?

it a fun game for at least half of the world.the reason why people buy these cards is because they come in packs and each time u buy a pack, u never know what is inside until u open it.it is like a temptation or a mystery to some people to buy a pack.it can also be a hobby if u really like it.if like to gamble u should know the reason.it is something full of surprises=)

Yu-gi-oh is a pretty legendary anime in my opinion.

It's possible that someone could buy those cards.
