Why do people freak about the little stuff? Why do they have obsessive compulsive disorder or agoraphobia. Im not making fun. I have friends with both of these.

Like i have a friend with panic disorder so she also wont leave the house. Everything freaks her out.

I know this other person who is scared people will talk to him. He wont go to the store. The question paper or plastic really freaks him out.

He doesnt want the guy to think hes killing trees put also doesnt want the guy to think hes putting plastic in landfills.

Its really sad. He has to write down what he will say to business people he has to call on the phone. He writes all he has to say. Makes a rough draft and then types it up. Sometimes he has to wait a day because he didnt finish his "paper".

I read that they dont have disorders or conditions in third world countries. They dont have to tap there head 17 times before walking out of there home. Whats up with that?

Do you think they had OCD in the pioneer days?

Do you think people gave themselfs there condition?

What about deppresion. Is it in some instances the same?

Like the guy I know he also has severe depression.

I think sometimes depression can be kicked with out help and meds. Sometimes you can just decide to not be sad.

Do you think that sometimes you can decide to not have quirks?

Tarets syndrome. Whats that? Is that the same as OCD and agoraphobia?

I know there all different. But do they branch from the same part of the brain?

  1. people in third world countries dont have conditions like us because there more concerned with how there going to get there next meal. Western civ. has a very busy lives so were more anxious. That being said where very lucky to not be living in a thrid world country.

  2. To answer your question

    1. You must have been through a traumatic event/loss to even understand WHY ppl have these disorders.

    2. It's in some ppl's genes(genetic makeup) to suffer these conditions

    3. Some people have a lot more tragic and eventful lives than others

    4. For ppl who have never had a major drama in their life that hasn't put them to curl up in bed then they would have no understanding of ppl who do suffer.

My father shot himself when I was 13, I was raped and pregnant at 17, had to have an abortion, my frst relationship 7yrs was domestic violence I walked out with 3 kids, my best mate killed himself, met my

next partner my 4th child's dad and he died in a high speed motorbike accident but it took 13 hrs for him to let go and I watched every minute. So thats what I mean unless you have had or suffered a tragic life you would never have an understnading of these conditions. I have Post Traumatic Stress Disorder am taking meds and going to councelling and I have it under control, without the meds there's no way I'd be able to function, I do still have 4 children to look after.

Look up these conditions on google, most sites you go to explain each condition you question in some detail, try to have a more open mind, some of can cope and some of us just crash and that's life :)

  3. lol

Love it. I wonder the same thing sometimes.

  4. People in third world countries don't really have good doctors to give them a diagnosis unless it's some major physical deformity.

As for everybody in a metropolis area, sometimes I wonder if these people are really that disabled. Perhaps these issues are in their head. A doctor just  tells you you're sick because it's in a hospital's best interest that people stay ill. That's how they get all their money.

Consider a doctor part of a business. What money would he be making if he told everyone "you're perfectly healthy", why not just make up some huge BS and hand them a perscription that will make them feel better from a disorder they don't have.

Life is full of ups and downs. That's how it works. You're sad because you had a bad day at school or work, or something isn't going the way you wanted in life. A doctor will say "Oh, you're just depressed. Have some pills."

In my opinion, they try to categorize everything as a disease.
