How come some clovers have 3 leaves and some have 4?

  1. It's just the different species and location.


  2. Apparently, clovers with up to 13 leaves have been found. It's a misshapen leaf when it occurs, that's why they are rarer than 3 leaves, which is the norm.

  3. Its like a birth deffect in humans. It's rare but it happens.
