How come some mugen characters don't work even though they have everything a character needs?

I think its got something to do with the name of the folder.

  1. wow people still use Mugen?!

    anyways its either you got a PATCH OR the name of the folder does not have the same name as the DEF file

    the folder must have the same name as the DEF file
