It comes about because many people allow what is called their belief engine to dominate critical thinking . If one has been raised in an environment that does not condone and may actually denegrate individual thinking and questioning ..then one acquires an I know it is true cause it is mentality. Evolution and a God can co-exist since evolution per se..does not address specifically the origin of life . Only the literal interpretationists of the Bible /young earth creationists cannot accept evolution. They would rather believe that a book written by men thousands of years ago in a time of minimal scientific understanding ( "everyone knew" that the Earth was flat and was the center of the Universe, and that demons caused disease, and that magic was REAL), since it really does eliminate the need for critical thinking. Unfortunately today we have religious right "mullahs" who drive their flocks in a "return to simpler times" motif and to them education , especially scientic education is anathema.

people dont understand evolution because they r uneducated and they r been mislead by dangerous people that belive that power is more important than truth. a simple proof for evolution is cats ,dogs cows ,sheep and all other domesticated animals along with all domesticated plant species. if evolution did not exist then we would have wild cats wolfs and bison as farm animals.its because evolution exists and animal species can change over time if a force that quides this change exists we managed to change these animals. if evolution did not exist nomatter how much u try you could never choose the desired characteristiks of farm animals. nature works in the same way but with diferent reasons mechanisms and end results. how about fosil evidence? whats your proof for creation? papers writen by unknown writers thousants of years ago???? next time you r sick dont trust medicine (which is based on evolution and its principles) just pray i am sure you will be ok LOL

What's funny is that selective breeding keeps us alive.  Without the specially bred "green revolution" crops, the human population of the earth would probably be capped at about two billion.

Most of those people who believe that 'God' created everything think that those who believe those who follow the evolution theory are immorally wrong and ignorant and need some kind of spiritual help, they also like to argue with other peoples opinions
