If this bill passes anybody who voted against the Union could be harassed by union thugs. Is this what we want in the US?

I gotta give credit where credit is due. George McGovern is against it. Way to go, George!

  1. I don't understand where this distrust and hate of unions from conservatives comes from.

It's a union. They're supposed to vote as a block for the best interests of the union. That's why they JOINED A UNION.

If someone doesn't want to be in a union, they don't have to be. They can work somewhere else.

  2. Because as well all know, secret ballot results can be fixed!  You can cheat!  Union leaders and businesses can easily collude, especially when money is involved--and they have.

Example: Hillary winning big in only primaries where they used optical scanners, while losing in all the caucuses (where voting was done publically--people annouced their vote in front of everyone else--and had no ballot results that could be fixed).

  3. An actual card check as opposed to stuffing the ballot box sounds good to, I've been to union meetings know what goes on.

  4. The DNC is run by the unions. Without union support, the DNC would really struggle to survive. Right now the unions are struggling to survive because manufacturers are moving to the south where the laws don't support unions and we don't want unions, so the unions are calling in favors to stay afloat.

  5. Because the unions give a lot of money and provide a lot of votes to the Democratic Party.
