Okay, I'm using Internet Explorer on one computer, and Firefox on a different computer! I want to change my IP to a proxy thing for at least ONE computer and I've looked at dozens of tutorials and such, but everytime i set the proxy, it won't work! Instead, when I want to go to a different page/website, the page won't load!! Can anyone tell me what's wrong?? BTW, I'm not living in the states! I live in Korea! Does it make a difference what kind of proxy I use???

Please answer :)

  2. I think where you live might affect the usage...

  3. A proxy is another computer / hardware that provides an internet connection. Do you have a proxy setup? If not, that is why you are not getting an internet connection when you enter a proxy address.

If you want to make one of your PCs act as a proxy, then you'll need to enable internet connection sharing on that one, and the point the other PC to that one as the proxy.
