How come the Olympic athletes wear jewelry in their events?

when i do sports you can get disqualified for wearing anything, even in individual sports such as track.

but why do they let them wear it in the olympics?

There are no rules at the Olympics regarding the wearing of jewelry. Sometimes schools have rules to avoid any injuries from the wearing of jewelry.

its for safety reasons thru the school. when its the olympics there really are no organizations like that where they are liable its all on the athletes

YOU WOULD THINK SINCE IT IS A MATTER OF HUNDREDTHS OF SECONDS THAT THEY WOULDN'T WEAR ANYTHING UNNECESSARY  . BUT IT JUST MUST BE HOW THEY TRAIN
