because it is american built lol. mine has broke like 6 times. a lot of rumor about them breaking all the time, turn back to the design flaws. the problem is that they over heat. I would highly recommend purchasing the xbox 360 fan cooler. you can buy this at target and wal-mart, or any game store.

I think there are major problems with the xbox360. Everyone seems to have some complaint or other. My son had to send his back to Microsoft because it kept giving him electric shocks!!! They tried to tell him it was only static. He's an electrician though and he put a meter on it. The reading was quite high!!!

My advice is to keep complaining. The good thing is my son received loads of freebies after.
