How come the carribean dont get tornadoes?

do tornadoes happen there.

2.and also during a hurricanes, you always hear about tornadoes being spawn in the usa. you hear that as far south as miami, but not as far south as cuba and bahamas. does the wind change or somethung. is it the condition of the usa the produces the tornadoes.

We can get tornadoes (I live in the Bahamas), but mostly they start out as water spouts and quickly die out before they reach land but its a possibility that they can continue on as a tornadoes as a hurricane by-product.

The Caribbean do get tornadoes. If you haven't heard of them, perhaps it is because you do not live there.
