If we are made in the image of God, why do the church quote scripture that Paul clearly states about himself. I am not Paul and God did not make me to be like Paul but he made me to be Christ like. If Paul flesh is weak to where he sins, that is Paul flesh. God did not use the same clay to make me so stop quoting what Paul says about himself when it comes to our daily lives. Paul was man, made out of flesh, capable of sinning. what his sin may have been may not be the same sin you struggle with. now if you want to quote what Paul believes why dont you try quoting a few of these scriptures where Paul talks about you.
1st Timothy 2:11-12 11 Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection.
12 But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.
1st Corinthians 14:34-35 34 Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience as also saith the law.
35 And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.
1st Corinthians 7:11 11 if she depart, let her remain unmarried or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife.
Paul can tell me what God says about my life, but as far as you comparing me to his sinful nature, it's impossible for you or anybody else to do that. If Paul was to quote that he beat women, does that mean I'm going to turn out to be a wife beater just because he has that problem, l think not. So if you want to continue to go with Paul when it comes to what he does with his life, then you have to do as he says when it comes to life in general. remain silence and learn at home.
