How come the dad has too?

this question has been on my mind for a while, but i was wondering why the dad has to pay child support? i was wondering b/c ive been living with my dad and i noticed that he paid child support when i was living with my mom, but now i live with him. anyways i was wondering why the mom dosnt have to pay and the dad has too?

  1. when i live with my dad, my mom pays him child support

    it isnt always the dad

    it is the parent that does not have custody most of the time

    which usually is the dad
