How come the media is becoming more corrupt every year?

Every year, there are chicks wearing less and less clothes on, and there are more shows that use more profane language. What has become of US Television and what is the reason/purpose of this change?

The evidence you gave is not evidence of corruption, just loosened morals.

Anyway, the fact is that s*x and sensationalism sells, and society in general has gradually become more tolerant of overt displays of same.

Which is in accord with freedom of speech, so it's all good.

The people who control the media are purposefully filling the heads of America with filth to distract them from what's really going on in the world, keep them in the dark. They want us to just consume more, and worry so much about the war...and other things they're up to.

Watch the movie Idiocracy .. it will explain a lot.  The corruption is a control thing.  Its to dumb-down the general population.
