I generally stay out of this section, because I find the people who ask and answer questions here...often say the most bazaare, random, nonsensical things...why????

And don't say coz there all smoking weed coz not all of them are.

  1. It makes no sense--some times--because everyone who does not know "metaphysical" from "epistemic" thinks an "opinion" is a philosophical statement--and we all have opinions.

Unfortunately, since Plato has metaphorically risen in the sky again beginning with Kant, anything is possible in the mind of those who don't know the huge 180 degree difference between "The Cave" and "Man qua Man."

  2. I have to think it is a perspective.  There is a constant attempt to 'out think' everyone else.  Me, most things are relative.  Shades of gray.  Just look deeper as there are a few straight thinkers.

  3. philosophically, there is no right and no wrong, just ambiguious, if what you ask and what you answer is right then it is right even if it is wrong

  4. maybe to you it makes no sense philosophy is as philosophy does to me it makes perfect sense

  5. Before you ask this type of question, you should have first looked up the definition of philosophy.  http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionar...

  6. Because it is mental excercise. Without proof whatsoever.  But the logic is very nice. The big advantage of philosophy is, there are no wrong answers.  Everything goes.  Philosophy 101, read the question.... think..... read again..... think..... understand? .... no, go to 1..... now read the answers the same way.   Sports, man, sports.

    Peace.

  7. Philosophy section like little dog who get lost at Christmas and find envelope unglued.

Philosophy section like lyre string vibrating with soul of cheesburger and consciousness of universe.

    Did you say "weed"?!? Where?

  8. Its not about asking to find a solution.

Its about asking to get an opinion.

I am sure most of us here are good enough to solve our problems on our own and we see this world with our eyes.

Its just that we need opinions on our side to back our self.

    That is what i think.

As far as i am concerned, i like giving opinions, but i rarely ask for one. I have my views and believes and they are strong enough not to be shaken.

And as far as you are concerned, you seems to be angry, if i put is that way.Lols no offense

    Chao ^_^;

  9. it's only random, nonsensical etc. because you're not used to thinking about things in that way. read up on philosophy, hang around these boards a lot more and you'll eventually become submerged in the language and start to understand it better. then you'll get what we're talking about.

  10. In all straightforwardness, I've got to say that some of these questions make a great deal of sense, and some are obviously put there with little forethought. But that is kind of true with most all of the catagories. So to speak...

  11. think outside the box and you will understand

  12. coz bazaar happens!

  13. Philosophy is like the Bible. All is not as it seems. You have to read carefully to understand what is really meant rather than what is written. Does anyone who thinks really believe that Adam and Eve were actual real people? Of course not. But the message the old writers tried to get across is there. Philosophy is like that.

    Well, it is sometimes.

Sometimes it is quite incomprehensible, bizarre (note the spelling), random and nonsensical.

Best you stay away from it.

  14. It's a big ball of limited human understanding and reasoning for things we cannot truly answer.  Opinions are like a holes and they usually stink! LOL

Even the greatest philosophers were freaks and insane. ALL OF THEM.

  15. Because it makes perfect sense for those who like to indulge in nonsense to have a 'crack' at philosophy.
