Have you realised most of participants in Scottish section are local and really know football?

I really enjoyed your acrimonious discussion on footy which also makes me wonders where are the superficial glory hunters who ask ridiculous questions in this section, ie tous/audi in english section.

is it because Scottish Football inherently not vibrant nor prestigious enough to attract foreign glory hunters, ie greeks or far easterners?

  1. yes, i am also an arab who follow dundee united.

  2. no we just became the first british side to win THEE EUROPEAN CUP

    with all local products

OUT OF CURIOUSITY HOW MANY CLUBS HAVE WON A EUROPEAN CUP WITH LOCAL PLAYERS METHINKS ENGLISH SECTION WILL BE A BIT FUCT TO FIND AN ANSWER FOR THAT ONE AS A KNOW ENGLISH TEAMS LIKE TODDINHOM UP TO UTD

HAVE ALWAYS BOUGHT OUTSIDE THEIR LOCALITY

  3. Very very true, we cannot attract the big world signings like Peter Beardsley and Maxi the Brazilian like perhaps West Manchester City and Tottenham United can.

We have to now look to our youth teams which does actually mean more of our own countrymen play for our clubs and we can still buy haggis suppers at the grounds without there being an influx of Kebabs.

As Freddie Mercury of Queen sung 'I Want It All' this is the signature song of the glory hunter. The type of person who is weak in life and may have a withered leg and no sexual experience. They do have lots of money and push in to get good seats at Old Trafford and Stamford Bridge leaving trues fans out in the cold. They are a group of Nomads with multi coloured cupboards full of different shirts.

Scottish football still has a good feel about it, Fir Park in Motherwell is a bog in bad weather and there are crazy Lithuanian Billionaires acting weird every week.

Hail Hail The Celts are here!!

  4. Not true, there is a high number of Arabs who follow Dundee United.

  5. generally when you support a scottish football team it's because it's in your blood or you chose them when you were younger regardless of who the rest of your family support,we do get our gloryhunters just not very often.Lets face it though if your were a gloryhunter would you pick a scottish team,I doubt it!!!

Scottish football is still viewed by alot of people as mickey mouse football, especially in England and therefore we don't attract the gloryhunters thankfully.
