  1. I don't know but I'm glad they do because I don't like it enough to buy a whole carton, but just a glob on my plate is pretty tasty!

  2. some people like to lump it on top of their salad or eat it with their veggies.

personally, i know a lot of people who will put it in salad along with french dressing...it sounds odd, but it acutally tastes pretty good.

  3. if it's a breakfast buffet, then it's because IT'S BREAKFAST.  otherwise, I've never seen it at a buffet...

  4. It is cheap, kind of tasty, and filling. What more could a buffet operator want in an item to add there?

  5. for the people on diets

  6. ibu guru is exactly right - and it is a good food for people dieting because it is higher in calcium but lower in fat than dairy products like ice cream etc. It's also a good source of protein for those who are vegetarians (or vegans I get them mixed up, the ones who will do dairy/egg products).

  7. People like it with their salads, fruits, veggies, just by itself.

Also its good for people on a diet, I think it is anyway.

  8. Not always, but quite common at cheaper buffets.  There's always a dieter, diabetic, vegetarian, picky eater, fussy child or something with a group, and cottage cheese is something most people can/will eat; many people like it with fruit or green salad; it's relatively inexpensive.

  9. alot of people eat it as part of a fruit or vege salad
