  1. Well, the eggs don't come from the food track. While they do come out of the butt, p**p is only there if they recently went p**p.

Eggs come from another tube in the chicken, and they don't p**p before laying them. Someone washes the eggs before they get packaged. I think it's the company that packages the eggs that washes them.

  2. Well, let's first understand basic anatomy.

The chicken's 'p**p' comes out of a different place than the egg.  So, when a chicken lays an egg, it rarely has anything other than a bit of clear fluid on the outside that dries rather quickly.

In a commercial operation, the eggs are automatically whisked away, via a drop system and conveyer belt.  The eggs are then automatically processed.

In a more natural setting, the eggs sit in the nest, which can sometimes have 'p**p' in it.  In this case, the eggs are collected by hand and washed before going to market.

  3. gathered, candled, cleaned, shipped out........

  4. Either the farmers or the processors wash them.
