  1. Bonds isn't a member of the MLBPA and they can't legally use his name. That's also why Kevin Millar's not in the game

  2. He is not part of the MLBPA, which is MLB players association, which makes me mad, because if I want to play an MLB game, then I want all of the players in it.

  3. don't forget about Brendan Donnelly. I think Millar and Donnelly were replacement players during the strike.

  4. He's on my PS1 MLB 2001 game. He IS technically a member of the MLBPA. However he doesn't give his permission anymore for MLBPA to use his name for the blanket licensing for all the players, ie, video games, etc.

Here is an article that might explain Bonds situation more clearly. http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story... Jordan did this in the NBA. That's why if you played NBA Jam and other NBA games Jordan's attributes were on some phony player. In NBA Jam Pippen and BJ Armstrong were the two reps for the Bulls on the game.

  5. Barry Bond's isn't a member of the MLBPA, which means that they can't use his name in any MLB licensed games and such. What they tend to do, at least in the case of MVP Baseball 2005 is replace him with a fictional character with basically the same stats.

  6. Because he didnt sign the papers that give these games the right to use professional players names.

  7. Because they can't put an * on a jersey

  8. B/c he didnt give the rights. He probably wanted 25 million for his name in it. Or just to prove a point and p**s off Selig

  9. because he said no. because he is a not nice baseball player lol
