How come this AOL error message keeps popping up?

I just installed AOL on a computer for a friend and have connected to it several times. However this error message has popped up and I don't know why.

The error is: AOL will now install files required for you to connect to this service.Click yes to install these files. You may be asked to restart your computer; otherwise, you will not be able to connect.

I restarted several times and sometimes it will let me connect and other times this message pops up again. How do I fix this? It's a day old computer.

Unless you just have to have to have AOL remove it from your computer. AOL even though it is still used alot is so yesterday for internet service providers. What you may be getting is adware trying to give your computer more junk.  Sorry, but AOL is history.
