  1. in shorter races (up to the mile) it is more comfortable in my opinion. some spikes are designed to be comfortable when worn without socks, like the nike Milers. it is like wearing slippers


  2. ok the whole idea is the lighter you are the faster you run so when you have socks on it weighs you down a little bit barely effects your time unless your like super fast and are at nationals where winners are .01 seconds apart. It shouldnt dramatically affect your time unless your running the steeple chase

  3. um.. i always wear socks. i dont know anyone who doesnt? haha.

  4. We do.  Its just that you can't see them.

  5. i do this 2, it works if, b4 a race u take them off and put your spikes on without them. if the race is short, then u shouldn't get blisters and it helps your feet breathe better.

  6. they do but they are hard to see b/c they are really small ankle socks
