How come voter turn out among women has not increased much over the decades?

Because we have a tendency to believe men know what they are doing.

it has nothing to do with gender.  i am amazed at how many ppl i know do not vote in any election.  i think that if you don't vote, you should not be able to complain.

More than 63 million votes were cast for the 'american idol', "more than any president in the history of our country has received,".  

this is a sad comment on the state of our country.  maybe we should scrap the electoral process and do a similar show to elect our leaders.
