One time I wanted to see what this makeup looked like on me, so I did it in the bathroom, and it looked fine. I did it another day, but it added too much color on me. Does that mean that if I ever want makeup, I'm going to need literally a white color?

When I go outside, my sister says, "You're so white," and I say, "Look at you. You're whiter than me," and she replies by saying, "How can anyone be whiter than you?" Why am I WHITE? I have some reddish color to me, but the rest is just white, lol. My arms don't look that white though,or my stomach. It's just my face, and probably my butt.

  1. its just the way the sun/lighting is, if the walls in your bathroom are a particular color then your gonna look as though you have a tint of that color in your skin tone, it also depends on the lights, if you have white lights, your going to look more pale than you would if you had yellow lights

  2. It's because of the lighting.

  3. Bathroom lights are usually a yellow-ish tint...so it may make you look darker. Also, when your out in the sun, the light bounces back and reflects, making you look whiter. Its a vicious cycle. Just get white lights instead of yellow in your bathroom and it should be close to similar.

  4. It is the light. the sun is gives you true light where as indoor lighting is not true white light!
