How come when i play chess and my opponents clock runs out the game continues?

So my opponents clock stays at zero but mine continues to tick and when mine runs out i lose.

Yahoo chess, as you've learned, is buggy as heck.  Some people use the bugs to cheat.

Because your settings are wrong.Please check them.

Because you are letting him get away with it.

If the agreed rule of the game is a time limit for moves or

you lose then when he clocks out without moving
