How come when i search everything it's highlighted? ?

when i search anything in google... yahoo... or any search bar any word that ive searched in the related search on the page is highlighted yellow. it's so annoying my screen is like a friggen big bird festival anyone know what this is

Because you pressed the highlight button. You can un-highlight it by pressing the yellow marker in your top right hand corner of the screen.
