How come when you bite on foil paper it gives out that werid feeling on your teeth?

Just a thought, I'm very curious. Why dose this happen?

  1. It is only if you have fillings.

    Your fillings are silver amalgam. There are enough electrolytes in saliva that you create a small electric current. If you have any of the modern ceramic fillings, you won't get the same effect because the ceramic used is non-conductive.
