How come when you turn over a beardie or leo's eggs they die?

  1. The same reason ALL reptile eggs will die if turned. Within 24 hours of being laid, an air pocket forms and key blood vessels start growing... if the egg is turned, the blood vessels will rupture, the air pocket will bust and the developing embryo will suffocate.


  2. Reptile eggs are designed by nature to develop without ever turning, since most are layed underground. The embryo attaches to the inside of the egg to develop and when the egg is turned it can't rite itself and dies.
