How come when you work out your muscles are big, then afterwards your muscles get small again?

im 16 years old, im a little skinny, and i want to get in shape and muscular real bad. is there shakes or pills i can take besides steriods to make my muscles be big.

  1. You can buy Muscle Milk. Its like a powdered protein stuff to boost muscle growth when you work out. Well to answer your first question though, your muscles appear bigger while your working out because since they are being used the blood rushes into them and makes them appear fuller.  


  2. while working out, your muscles get pumped up with extra blood. This goes away after exercising. Some guys pump up before dates.

    There not anything that is really effective for getting bigger muscles except working out. Lifting heavier weights (rather than lots of repetitions) will grow bigger muscles.

  3. At the age of 16 you don't want to be taking pills or shakes especially when you are thin in the first part!

    Be patient and do it naturally, don't expect a product to do everything for you!

    YOur muscles will get big because all the blood rushes to them when you lift the weights (like an erection :)) and it takes a day before the muscle expands and heals up.  That's why you should work certain muscles one day and the others the next day to let your muscles grow healthily!
