How come whenever I'm on an amusement park ride and it goes down, I get an unbearable pain in my stomach?

This is like Guantanamo Bay suffering! It makes me beg to god at every instant that we'll have reached the bottom NOW!

Most pain is bearable, but this isn't, that's the scary thing. It makes be feel like putting a gun in my mouth and pulling the trigger to relieve myself from the unimaginable pain!

I heard everyone else gets this feeling too and they LIKE it!

Why does it hurt UNBEARABLY for me?

I can't go on rollercoasters because of it! I'll be trapped into a several-minute long session of UNBEARABLE pain! I won't have anything to do but scream in torturous agony!

What's wrong with me?

  1. Dont get on them then, but I love thrill of it, and the feeling goes away, but you may have an issue with heights. have you tried the pirate or swaying rides if you feel the same way? dont get on them you just dont have the stomach sorry

  2. Its called fear.  To make it go away, you have to face that fear and let it go.  It takes time.  Try throwing your hands in the air as you go down and screaming your head off..instead of plunging, you get a weightless sensation and that fear might change.  Good luck.

  3. It's the buildup of fear, nervous, & butterflies in your stomach.

After a while, it will go away. Just calm down before the ride, close your eyes so you wont see whats going on, and have fun!! :]

Don't worry, everything will be okay & nothing is wrong with you.

  4. to me its adrenaline! its the rush of excite ment like your guts are flying out right?
