this is my problem, whenever i twist my body i had a chest pain in the middle chest, about 2 inches above my sternum, if i were to rate pain its 2/10. I went to my physician 3 weeks ago, and he said that the pain is cause by the muscle in that part. so he gave me a muscle relaxant and advice me to do hot water bag everyday, at least 2 times. but unfortunately i did follow that because i had to go to school. and the medicine that he gave, i didn't also follow the time to drink it.. i am 21 years old. my family doesn't have any history of heart problem, and i didn't also have a history of hearth attack. i cough sometimes, but the most annoying is i had a lot of phlegm.. please help me what to do. did my doctor had a wrong diagnosis on me?

  1. No not wrong diagnosis - just did not follow his instructions

  2. If you ignore a MD's advice, how do you expect things to change?

Go get a second opinion, or see a cardio specialist.
