Question:

How come whenever theres a sign saying "wet paint do not touch" most people touch it?

  3. Because people need proof in most things... they don't want to just take people's word for things.  

  4. I know where there's a park and when they repaint the benches there, they put up signs that say "Dry Paint....Please Touch".  They have yet to have a bench with finger prints on it!

    I think it's just human nature to "test the water" and want to do something we're not supposed to do.

    It's the same thing when you see "Do Not Walk on the Grass" signs.....watch sometime!!  People will RUN across it taking big steps!  I guess they think they won't do as much damage that way!

    I think it is from childhood.

    Where your mom, dad, etc. used to tell you "don't touch" and you know you would have to touch.
