How come world class international players are not willing to play for Scottish PL?

Question

I know you are proud you have got local lads playing football in the clubs, but these clubs are underachievers in Europe, as evidenced by Champions League results.

Why can't Scottish PL attract brilliant foreign players? How come Ronaldo is willing to go play for Manchester but not Glasgow?

Is it because Scottish league doesnt have the economy of scales to attract international footballers or Scottish league is not in the same class as English Permier League in players' and football observers' minds?

No,look Man U,real even Chelsea ,they did something spectacular on the world stage ,but have any of the Scottish club done so?????

Celtic, Rangers & Aberdeen have all won European trophies. Brian Laudrup, Henrik Larsson and Paul Gascoigne all played in the SPL.

As for your 'How come Ronaldo wont come to Glasgow' comment, that's a stupid question and you know it is.

I'm not a football person, so i am not biased :) .

I would say that Scottish leagues just don't have the finances to compete with the likes of mufc and cfc and lfc etc etc.

People worldwide when watching football pay more attention to watching these sort of matches that a Scottish match.

I'm a lorry driver and spend a lot of time across Europe, and every where i go i have not once hard any talking about Scottish leagues only ever English, however once i did hear Cardiff mentioned, not in a good way though lol.
