Why is it that most of the time I check my 360, I need to refresh the page like 10 times before my profile views show up?

  1. yahoo did not put much thought into their 360 thingy. Plus, they have been notified about this problem, but choose to do nothing to correct it. Sad.

  2. This is a long-time 360 issue (see http://blog.360.yahoo.com/blog-4D4zxsg6f... for information regarding more glitches). The counter/pageviews feature is notoriously unreliable. The best thing is to ignore that feature. You can't reset or modify it yourself.

You can try the following and that's about it:

    1) Refresh the page several times as you have been doing.

    2) Clear your browser's cache and cookies. Before clearing cookies, make sure you know your passwords to sites.

    CACHE:

    In Internet Explorer, see http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/usin...

In Firefox, click the "Clear Cache Now" button under Tools > Options > Privacy > Cache.

In Safari, under the Safari menu is an option to Empty Cache; select this.

    COOKIES:

In Firefox, do this under Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies > Clear Cookies Now

In Internet Explorer, do this under Tools > Internet Options > General > Browsing History > Delete > Delete Cookies > Yes

In Safari, select Preferences from the Safari menu and click Security. Click Show Cookies, then click the option to Remove cookies.

    Then, restart your computer.

    3) You can try using a different browser like Mozilla Firefox (http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/ ).

    4) Some users insert maps into every few blog entries (http://www.statcounter.com ). Be aware that it may be an error-prone solution and it won't give you names - maybe just aggregate or IP address information.

  3. There could be a couple of possible reasons:

    1. Yahoo 360 Major glitch.

    2. Your Internet connection may be slow.

    3. Your computer's memory card may be overloaded.

    4. You have too many windows/programs open all at the same time.
