How come you can use your laptop and iPod on a plane, but not your mobile?

Unless the mobile is in "flight mode" or something like that. Whats the difference?

  1. the cell phone waves interfere with other satellites causing the plane to become off coarse or possibly crash.


  2. Cell phones utilize satellites, just like air planes. It could s***w things up.

  3. laptops and ipods u get the energy it needs from a computer and a mobil has to go through wires and conect with somthing but ipods and laptops dont see now

  4. i think it has something to do with the signals coming from the phone. An ipod has its own unit and doesnt communicate with any sort of signals
