  1. At present there's not much to talk about as they haven't exactly shone in cricket for a while. But we live in hopes that they will once again become a force to be reckoned with as in the days of Garner, Lloyd & Marshall etc.

  2. because there aren't many west indians on

  3. The real reason is that India dominate this section, nearly every question in this section is about India. This is because so many Indian fans use this section compared to other countries, there are a few Aussies, English and Lankans in the section so thats why you see questions about those countries.

West Indies have no users in the section at the moment, not one famous user is from the West Indies. People usually talk about the country they are from on here, so if no-one is from West Indies then they have no-one to talk about them.

You do see a few questions about them, but even then these questions only get 5 or 6 answers.

The truth is most people on here dont care about West Indian cricket, if there were more questions about West Indies then i would answer them.

Maybe when they play India, they might have a FEW questions about them

  4. Because they haven't been playing any cricket of late.

Cricket section ussually ends up talking about the current series tours.

  5. the west indies team was one of the best teams in the world in the past and now also it is a good team, so i don't think the west indies team should be neglected by any means.

  6. if only they werent a pathetic excuse of a team

  7. Ongoing series are discussed here, unless otherwise questions are raised about a team or player by someone. (mostly who belongs to the same country as that of the team).

And all the West indies legends alway feature when the question is linked with old glory days of cricket, when WI giants ruled the cricketing world

  8. sarvan & Chanderpaul are the best~

  9. West Indies is going through a talent deficit phase now. Brian Lara and Shiv Chanderpaul are perhaps unable to influence youngsters to take up cricket as a sport.

  10. i talk. lara is great
