How come you never see baby squirrels??

never, I back up to woods and see adult squirrels all day long. Where are the babies???

they aren't allowed run around because they are often preyed on by birds.  i've one seen one because it fell out of a tree trying to run away from a bird.  it was very sad.

In a tree nest somewhere, I'd guess. I've never seen one either, but I've never thought about it until now.
