How come you people never ask questions in this category?

i've got so many answers for it and no questions to answer. I've been checking in here for two weeks and there's nothing!

Most people outside of Mexico probably don't know it exists. If it's not a big tourist destination, like Cancun or Puerto Vallarta, it's not on their radar. I've read a book about SMA called  On Mexican Time: A New Life in San Miguel by Tony Cohan  From that book, I know it's a nice town, and it's on my list to consider for retirement. So, when that gets closer, I'll ask a question about how San Miguel de Allende is for a place for gringos to retire--so start doing research for that question.

Because I've never been to Mexico, and until you asked this question, I had never heard of the place.

How's this:  what's the weather like there?  Is is a poor or rich city?  Is there lots to do there or is it boring?  Is it a big city or a small town?
