How come you people think AI is a better driver then Lebron?

Lebron is the best driver ever, and to be honest it's not even close.

I'll give you that AI is a better shooter, but driver? NO...

AI is a better driver and shooter

He is faster than LeBron, he can dribble around opponents quickly

LeBron is big, he has a harder time getting to the paint than Lebron

iverson is the better perimeter player and can shoot much better. but he is too small compared to lebron and would probably have a hard time driving in, just my opinion

or maybe they think that because hes small and fast and can drive and get around big guys easy?

I think people confuse finese and brute power....

Iverson is finesse... when he goes in... or atleast when he was younger and faster he would go around people while dribbling around them....

Lebron on the other hand... at almost 6ft 10 hes pretty d**n big... he CAN play ALL 5 positions.....  but the way he drives consists of pure power..... I remmember I laughed during the olympic basketball when one of the other teams tried to hold down lebron and just foul him since that was the weakest point of Team USA and he still made it with like 3 fouls before 1 was called ahhaha....

Lebron is a tank.... hes almost too tall to dribble well though.. but he does so hes defitnatly the future barring any injury

Hmm.. It's tough. I like A.I. better than LeBron but I must admit LeBron just bulldoze his way through the rim. Let's just say that AI's drives looks more beautiful than when LeBron use his physical gift to get through the rim.

first of all lebron is a few inches biger but AI may be a better driver, he is faster then lebron and he does go to the line alot

If you are around 6 foot even and keep driving in and getting layups and getting knocked down , and getting fractured and broken bones, and have to keep doing it to keep your team in the game because the other guys cant defend to safe their lives,not because he wants to its because he has to stop the clock and get some free points by getting to the line. Im sure if he had another guy that had enuff brain cells to drive in and get fouls then he wouldnt have to do that.But Lebron is 6,8 bigger body bigger muscles, and he dont mind getting bumped and knocked down by guys his size, many of them are smaller than him. A.I gets my vote ,its much harder for him to drive.

not a good comparison.. but AI is a better driver then Lebron.  I  Have been watching AI since he was drafted, especially when he went against the Lakers.  He gets to the basket at will.  His speed was amazing.  If big bodies like Dwight,Bynum,Camby,Shaq or any Centers like that get in Lebrons way, Lebron can be stopped...

As for AI, he speeds his away easily pass them.

For one, people are amazed that Iverson who is actually about 5' 10" can be such an amazing scorer and overal player. This feeds into the next reason people think he is better than Lebron. They think this because people see AI in themselves; not tall,overally strong and someone who admittedly makes mistakes on and off the court.

Iverson especially for basketball enthusiasts who love pickup, outdoor/blacktop style of play idolize Iverson because his game is straight off the playground- in a good way. Hundreds of thousands play pickup ball and Iverson most closely resembles that play in the NBA. People like to think that one of their own or someone like them can be doing big things on the best courts in the world in the NBA.

Iverson is short and real, not some mythical figure- people love that and will stick up for that. It's usually nothing against Lebron. But he is 6' 8" 250 lbs and has the most God given attributes to succeed at basketball. Even though both players skill level was made off of years of hard work Iverson is considered to have overcome more, people love that about him.
