When we look at the sunlight and close our eyes, we can see a tint red, but when we close our eyes in the pure darkness, we see pitch black?

  1. duh..black and black make darkness, but try looking at color in say a dark room...like if you say have a stage in your basement or what have you or say you have a piece of vivid foam paper...the darkness will make it a darker color..


  2. Isnt it because the inside of your eyes are pink/red and you can kinda see it when the light shines on it, and when your in pitch black your can't see anything. I can't really explain it but I though it was common sense..

  3. Sunlight goes through your eye lids, so you see light passing through the blood in your lids.

    You cannot see pitch black. That is the lack of light so you are not seeing anything at all.
