I am 20 and had my wisdom teeth out 2 or so years ago. For some reason I am getting pain back where my wisdom teeth were on one upper side of my mouth. How common are second sets of wisdom teeth? I really hope I don't have them again. It was bad enough the first time.

  1. sometimes an odd extra tooth can appear but its very very rare. you dont just grow a new one from scratch, it would have been there when you had the other wisdom teeth out, just not visable , probley hiding behind the gum, but  i suspect it would have shown up on an xray so you dentist may have spotted it then. again as i say its very rare so highly unlikely its happening

if your getting pain id go see your dentist

  2. The dentist would have told you if you had a second set of wisdom teeth because the teeth would have shown up on x-rays. Humans don't grow teeth, we are born with them, so you don't have to worry about it being more teeth.

I actually had that same thing, it's usually jaw tension, but if it continues, go to the doctor and he or she can have a look at it.

    Oh! To answer your question:

Second sets of widsom teeth and typically small, and underdeveloped. It's pretty uncommon, but not so uncommon that you never hear of it. If you have another set, the dentist would have told you that it would probably never descend (though sometimes, they do).

  3. need to take an X ray & check it out. May be a some cyst or broken root.

  4. It not rare for a second set to be present. Its also not common.  There was a care where a guy had 3 sets of wisdom teeth.

  5. NO SET OF SECOND WISDOM TEETH JUST 1 SET
