How common are internet cafes in france?

  1. Very common.  They are called cyber cafes, or just cybers (pronouced seebair).  You will have to get used to the French keyboard though.


  2. I've seen quite a few in Paris.  They are often tiny little storefronts on main streets with a sign that says Internet Point.  

    As for the keyboard, if you're a touch typist (rather than someone who has to look at the keys), you can often change the configuration from French to the American standard QWERTY keyboard.  Check under Control Panel.

  3. They are absolutely everywhere, just about on every block.

    The internet access is super cheap as well.
