How common are relationships between transsexual men with transsexual women, does that ever happen?

Someone born a man who feels like a woman gets involved with someone born a woman who feels like a man. That should happen a lot shouldn't it? But why does it seem so strange, like a lot of work for nothing. I guess it's just coming full circle, so do you know anyone like this? Do they have a sense of humor about it?

I know a couple like that.
Actually they went through the procedures because they each wanted to be the opposite s*x in the relationship.
Though they also had intention of the s*x change for a while.
