  1. Diagnoses from first to last

    Schizophrenia

    Major depressive with psychosis

    Bipolar Disorder with psychotic features

    Schizo-affective bipolar

all that within 2 months and 5 psychiatrists so yes, it can change

  2. It's not uncommon at all.  Often times you can receive a new diagnoses from session to session.  It all depends on what you are discussing in your session.  Often times you will receive a rule out diagnoses until you experience enough symptoms or enough time lapses to diagnose you with a particular disorder.  Furthermore, it is not uncommon to have multiple diagnoses or disorders.

  3. After working with you or further testing the therapist or dr determined that the dx may have been incorrect. The initial dx may have been tentative nos being non specified.

The important thing is that your meds  are working and you feel better.

  4. I guess so.  I went from psychotic depression to schizo-affective depression to dysthamia.  They no longer recognize my voices or "shadow people"...I dont' understand that but on my dx paper it says nothing about the psycotic part of my issues.  I has have BPD, avoidant personality disorder, and panic disorder with agoraphobia.
