How common is it to see a bear in Jacksonville, FL?

Black bears are re-appearing all over the eastern United States.  They're certainly not common, but they're exceedingly skilled at living un-noticed right next to people.  They were once quite common in Florida.  Don't bother them and they won't bother you.

Not at all common in town...probably some out in the boonies (for example, just up the coast on Big and Little Talbot Island where it's a state park.)
