How common would it be if a store owner sold me cigarettes if i am barely under age?

i am seventeen and i will turn eighteen in less than ten days... do you think store owners would be more lenient and sell me cigarettes since i am so close to the legal age?

No, most legitimate stores do not bend the in the manner you describe.

And like that other person said, do yourself a favor and don't smoke.

I think it is pretty easy for minors to get cigarettes, but do yourself a favor and don't start smoking if you haven't already.  If you have, STOP.
