  1. Everything Aseleene.. said.  Plus it's nice to be able to use the bathroom whenever, not pay extravagent prices for drinks, as much dressing as you want on your salad, tune the stereo to your favorite music instead of the Muzak, you don't have to get dressed up if you don't want to, you can have seconds, watch a movie or the news and talk about it over dinner.

And to make it special, get the special plates out, set the table, light a candle.  And no having to flag down a server if you drop your fork.  And no tipping.

We love dining at home.  Dining out is only for very special occasions like our anniversay.  Maybe it's because we both love cooking and when we dine out we critique their food which kind of ruins the mood.

  2. I'm not exactly sure what you mean by "more desirable," but here's why I think cooking and dining at home are better than dining out:

    1. It's less expensive.

    2. You can control the ingredients. Add things you like, omit the ones you don't. And it's great to control things like sodium and fat or calories if you care. It's rare to find lower sodium dishes at restaurants.

    3. Cooking is a great way to explore your creativity. I love trying new dishes and changing different things with them.

    4. Eating at home is more conducive to family time. Restaurants are often noisy and I hate always being interrupted by the waiter or waitress.

    5. Cooking at home will by default teach your kids to cook. I think that teaching children how to cook (boys and girls) is an important thing for parents to do. Cooking is just as much a life skill as driving and balancing your checkbook.

I really enjoy planning and cooking meals for my family. It's always tempting to go somewhere out to eat, but I always regret it later. Cooking at home is very rewarding.

  3. You could make it more desirable by cooking more new and interesting things. Go to the supermarket and find something you've never tried before, and don't be afraid of getting excited about cooking it.

If you don't buy something pre-packaged, it'll have less preservatives and be a LOT more healthier. You could lose weight if you cut out dining out altogether.

The dining in the nude option is also pretty appealing...

  4. wont be better cuz then i have dirty dishes!!

  5. dining out  is dining out   try invite friends and dining at home is best.

  6. Well you could cook and eat in the nude.  Then afterwards you can sweep all the dishes and stuff to the side and have wild, animal s*x right there on the table.  Can't do that in a fine dining establishment.
