How costly are organic and natural tampons exactly?

I was thinking about buying some maybe from the health food store because I'm concerned about chemicals in conventional tampons, but before I consider...just how much would a box cost me? and are there any organic/natural pads out there as well?

  1. Wild Oats has them for around $7-8 for a box of ten..there are pretty pricy. You should try a Menstrual Cup if you want to go green with your cycle. I use a Lady Cup but there are many different brands and styles out there so theres bound to be one you like.

As far as organic pads, why not just get some cloth pads? I use them and they are great and not as gross as they sound..if you can use a tampon, then you can use a cloth pad.Besides they are totaly green cuz they last forever so no more pads into the dump!

  2. I order everything from

I know they have organic tampons and pads but I havent tried them yet.  Its $5 for 20 tampons and I'm not sure how much the pads are.

Organic tampons and pads are made of pure cotton.
