and where you want to use it/store it...  Mooring costs can be as much as rental on a house!  Licences for the water ways you are using, insurance and safety certificates...  Can get pricey.

Need more info- Where, trailer or moor or storage rack, inboard, outboard, outdrive, fiberglass or wood, older or newer, quality of construction, type of fuel, government fees, etc. Rule of thumb is 10% of value toward maintenance per year. Plus everything else!

if you have to ask, you cant afford it.fuel, maintenance, insurance, slip rent etc. at least $20,000. per year.

The general rule of thumb is: a boat will cost you 10% of the purchase price per year in maintenance. Of course a used boat will have more issues than a new one.
