  1. Maybe you mean how was his mind different and how did it become like that?   I think he had a better memory than most people, more efficient problem solving abilities, better ability to visualize in the minds eye, and put a lot of effort into learning and problem solving, also probably did not struggle with any serious emotional issues. His family background helped a lot.. If he was born into a poor family or if his parents were not educated he probably would have never became a scientist.. How did his Brain get like it was though?  The answer would be genetics.. natural gift... But some say he was somewhat autistic which means certain areas of his brain that have to do with socialization were not normal (or somewhat retarded) and so enhanced the other abilities that I mentioned before... I don't know if any of this is fact it is just what I think and remember from what I have read awhile ago...

  2. The brain is very complex entity.

To make a comparison,  let's say that the different aspects of the human brain are similar to those of the human face; when you look at a human face you know that it is a human face but,  features are very different,  nose, mouth, eye shape, color, ears and so on.

The human brain has many aspects and features, many orders of magnitude more than a face.

Certain individuals have a feature (by nature) more developed than other individuals.  Even the brain is subject to genetic configuration.

On top of that,  if you practice a feature (memory, analysis, ...) it will become a better brain.
